Cross-Functional
Scrum Teams are cross-functional, meaning members collectively possess all the skills needed to deliver value every sprint.
Self-Managing
Teams are self-managing, internally deciding who does what, when, and how without external assignment.
Size: 10 Members or Fewer
Typically composed of 10 or fewer members. Smaller teams tend to communicate more effectively and achieve higher productivity.
Scaled Scrum
When a team grows too large, it should be divided into multiple cohesive Scrum Teams. These teams share the same product goal, product backlog, and product owner to maintain alignment.
Responsibility
The Scrum Team is responsible for all product-related activities, including stakeholder collaboration, maintenance, operations, development, and any other necessary tasks.
Accountability
The entire Scrum Team is collectively accountable for delivering a valuable and usable product increment each sprint.
